You will receive a proof within 48 hours of placing your order.

Due to the various sizes of newspaper articles an poems, we are unable to do an online proof before ordering. 

We will not print without your final approval.

 
 
1 What is the minimum order?

The minimum order is 6 bookmarks.

2 Are the bookmarks laminated?

Yes, all our bookmarks are totally encapsulated in a medium weight plastic for durability and to keep from yellowing. They are also round cornered so there are no sharp points.

3 What is the size of the bookmarks?

The bookmarks vary in size. The length of the newspaper announcement and the photo all impact the size of the bookmark. The average size of the Memorial Bookmarks is 3" wide and 8" long.

4 Are the bookmarks 2 sided?

Yes, they are.

5 Does the bookmark have to have the same border on both sides?

Yes, the borders have to be the same. They need to line up exactly, front and back, so there isn't any bleed through to the other side when printing. It also makes the trimming process more exact.

6 What is included in each type of bookmark?

7 What is on the front and back of the bookmarks?

For the Memorial Bookmarks, the standard layout has the photo (optional) and obituary on the front and a symbol and poem on the back.

For the Celebration Bookmarks, the standard layout has the photo and newspaper announcement on the front and a symbol and poem (optional) on the back.

With that being said, we want to help you create a bookmark that you will enjoy for years to come and will work with you get the layout you want.

8 Do I have to use the newspaper announcement?

No. We have many people who opt to substitute their own text, honorarium or poem.

9 It there an additional cost for changing the newspaper article?

No, there is no extra charge. Just cut and paste it in the provided Text or Additional Instructions box on the ordering page or email to info@CelebratingLifeBookmarks.com.

10 How do I add a photo?

There are several ways to send us a photograph. On the online order form, there is a place to upload the photo. The preferred format is .jpg. We can also accept .bmp, .gif, or .png in this upload function.

Or – Mail original photo (it will be returned with completed order) to:

11 Can I use a different poem than one you offer?

Yes, you can. If it is your original work, you need not do anything. Otherwise, you will need to submit proof it is part of public domain or an authorization by the copyright owner for us to use it. Email us at info@CelebratingLifeBookmarks.com for the form or a list of 6 websites the poem appears on. We must give credit to the person who originally wrote the poem/verse.

12 How do I send you a custom poem or verse?

On the online order form, there is an instruction text box. You can cut and paste the text into Additional instructions box.

13 How long will it take my order to arrive?

Regular orders take 2-3 weeks. We do have a rush option, which gets the order to you in 3-5 business days. The rush option has an additional $25.00 charge so we can send the order with expedited shipping.

You may be assured that the personal information you provide to us over the Internet is treated with utmost care to ensure safety, security and confidentiality.
